Nyepi or Day of Silence is the most unique and sacred ceremony day in Bali which falls on Wednesday, March 25th, 2020 at 6.00 AM to Thursday, March 26th, 2020 at 6.00 AM. At this time Balinese will be celebrating the Hindu New Year, which called “Tahun Caka” 1942 and marked with total silence (no work, no entertainment, no fire/light, no traveling and to some even meals/fasting), even the airport and harbors are also closed. Check-in and check-out will not be possible during this time.
